Sales Engineer

COOPER POWER SYSTEMS     Senior Sales Engineer POSITION SUMMARY: Represents Cooper Power Systems' complete line of electrical transmission and distribution products to utility accounts and major OEM accounts. Most electric cooperative and municipal utilities are served in cooperation with electrical distributors, while larger investor-owned utilities are served directly. Customer contacts are with the utilities' engineering, purchasing, operations, and supply chain planning departments. Planning contacts involve the determination of future activities involving Cooper Power Systems' equipment. Responsible for maintaining executive contacts at utilities and with distributor principals. Must be able to work with customers. This position requires the ability to work with all levels of the major account’s personnel to sell and support our products as well as to understand the customer’s business needs.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BSEE or BSME with five or more years experience as a Sales Engineer or equivalent based on the individual's ability, technical knowledge, attitude, ability to assume responsibility, and level of achievement. Proficiency with personal computer necessary.
