SENIOR GRINDING AND FINISHING ENGINEER
Location:Â Indianapolis, IN 46201 Division:Â Engineering Responsibilities: You will be responsible working with Plant engineering resources; identifying finish machining equipment and develop operating procedures to deliver superior quality and world class productivity results; conducting product/equipment feasibility studies; defining/establishing TPM programs for new equipment; coordinating and certifying requirements with machine tool manufacturers; writing equipment specifications; and analyzing existing machining needs/methods and developing appropriate strategy to address gaps. 25% domestic and international travel required. Requirements: To qualify, you must have a BS in Engineering and at least 7 years of related experience. Experience with both manual and CNC controlled equipment, a wide base of knowledge in grinding and finishing of metals and ceramics, good communications skills and the ability to work across several cultures are critical.
