Provide information research services and communication consulting services to effectively target and communicate information to the right audience  Position Summary We are seeking an SAP Profile Manager who will be responsible for the design, development, testing (if applicable), and promotion to production of SAP security roles/authorizations.  In addition, candidate provides operational support of production SAP security incidents.  Function is performed working with business and/or technical analysts representing business process teams or SAP functional teams, new SAP module implementation teams or projects, SAP Basis Infrastructure team, and Fairfield Computer Center.  Responsibility encompasses all SAP development, quality assurance, test, training, and production environments. Responsibilities SAP Authorization Administrator: Work with SAP business owners and SAP developers to design, test, and transport SAP roles to satisfy business process requirements as defined by clients. Create, modify, and delete authorizations and roles to meet functional user requirements.  Transport role changes as approved by developer, IT team leads, and SAP business owners.  Analyze and solve authorization error messages and problems and provide detailed analysis of problem and solutions.  Work with Internal Auditing Department and external auditors to research audit issues, requests, and problems as needed or requested.  Provide support and assistance for all Sarbanes-Oxley testing. Client support and consulting: Provide expert consulting to the client, to identify and meet client business needs.  Understand the client's current and future business environment, effectively anticipate, identify, and fully meet all business needs.  Anticipate client concerns and questions and provide timely, professional, straight- forward (non-technical) communications via meetings, status reports, phone, and email and follow through with results.  Work with the Technology Service Center, SAP Change Control Team, and SAP developers to support SAP User Access requests, issues, and problems.  Research new SAP functionality in the authorization area and recommend implementation alternatives.  Operational Support and Special Projects: Provide operational support for SAP security issues for Financials/Materials Management/Human Resources/Work Management, SAP Portal, Business Warehouse, and Supplier Relationship Management systems.  Provide on call support for all SAP production systems.  Troubleshoot production problems and provide timely solutions.  Participate on ISTS initiatives and/or cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.  Work with team members, supervisor, and client organizations as appropriate to achieve this result.  Develop or assist with security implementation plans for new SAP client environments, consolidation of existing environments, and upgrade projects for new SAP releases.
