RESPIRATORY THERAPIST - LICENSED

You will be responsible for assuring the delivery of quality respiratory services to clients; performing clinical, technical evaluations and education for respiratory clients; setting up CPAP, BIPAP, apnea and bilirubin clients; performing oximetry and ventilator related duties for clients as needed; determining appropriate equipment based upon necessity and insurance; communicating with physicians and healthcare agencies as necessary pursuant to client status; offering consultation and promotion to referral sources; conducting in-services with sales as needed to referral sources; completing documentation and submits timely; performing routine clerical and manual tasks in the IV center and on the computer; maintaining all required CEUs; maintaining valid and current license in the state working in; following all HIPAA and JCAHO requirements and articulating all relevant JCAHO questions; participating in 24 hr/day 7 days per week on call rotation, as needed; and other duties as assigned.Requirements: To qualify, you must have a technical diploma or higher from an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy, a valid Driver’s license and a valid license to practice Respiratory Therapy in the state the incumbent will be working.  1 year clinical or respiratory experience, homecare experience, working knowledge of home medical equipment and computer experience are preferred.
