With a recent $100 million investment in our company and having been awarded the world’s largest solar contract we are at the forefront of the renewable energy arena. Your proven quality management expertise will be called upon as we will look to you to design and implement an entirely new quality program to ensure the highest level of compliance by our vendors for our next-generation solar power conversion units (PCU). This is an exciting time to join this white hot sector in the renewables industry and you will be challenged everyday as we continuously strive to perfect our cutting-edge technology and create a greener future for generations to come.
Our headline-making technology holds the world's efficiency record for converting solar power to grid quality electricity. Stirling Energy Systems (SES) has been awarded the world's largest solar energy contracts with Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric to build up to 1,750 MW of solar projects in California. Recently named one of the Top 25 Breakout Companies by Fortune Magazine and ranked #1 in Fast Company's "Fast 50", SES offers strong growth potential in an entrepreneurial and progressive business environment with an emphasis on honesty, integrity and creative solutions. Join the Stirling Engine Team and bring your experience to the fast emerging solar energy industry.
Based in our Phoenix, AZ headquarters and traveling approximately 40-50% of the time to our vendor locations (primarily in North America) your main focus will be the implementation and flawless execution of a new quality management and reporting infrastructure for our suppliers and their adherence to our exacting specifications and high quality standards (Right First Time (RFT) and Zero Defects (ZD)). Your previous experience building a quality management system from scratch involving casting, machining, metal fabrication, glass-to-metal and adhesion drives and controls for the automotive or assembly engine industry will be critical to your success. In addition you will have managed a program to achieve ISO certification. Your strong relationship building and influencing skills will allow you to effectively manage our supply chain partners and ensure quality, on time delivery and cost down achievement. Extensive experience with driving and delivering on rigorous and thorough quality programs and a metrics / KPI driven management style will add to your candidacy. This is a green field opportunity to design the quality processes and procedures to govern our partners (both new and existing) and establish our quality ethic through out the organization and supply chain. In exchange for your quality management prowess you will be rewarded with challenging and high-impact projects that will pioneer new generations of sustainable energy systems and help reduce humanity’s carbon footprint.
