QA/QC Inspection, Lead

Organizational Statement Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing. Is currently seeking a Quality Insurance Inspection Lead in our Houston office to provide specific QA/QC and Inspection services to the departments Project Managers and their respective projects including direct inspection by the job holder and finding and coordinating contract inspections services to support the needs of the group.Responsibilities Experienced in Quality assurance and Quality Control, Audit, Inspection, Non-Destructive Examination on pipeline and pipeline fabrications for onshore and offshore related projectsAbility to manage inspection personnel conducting inspection services, including locating, interviewing and vetting inspectors to be used by the companyKnowledgeable in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9000 & ASME NQA-1) Knowledgeable in materials fabrication, design, procurement, manufacturing and testingTesting experience in non-destructive methods including Level III dye penetrant, Level III Magnetic Particle, Level II Ultrasonic, and Level II Radiographic methodsAbility to generate and implement various types of procedures to define and track fabrication quality assurance stepsAbility to generate and implement Quality Assurance Plans and Test PlansAbility to review and comment on drawings for fabrication issues, appropriate weld procedures for the materials and constructability issues associated with the structure designAbility to travel to field locations including foundries, fabrication shops and field construction sites to review the fabrication processQualifications 10 yrs experience in inspection, fabrication, specification and drawing review and writing.
