Project Planning/Controls Specialist
We are currently looking for the best candidate to support for the position of Project Planning Support . This position will support our client, Rolls-Royce Energy Systems, Inc. in Mount Vernon, OH.
Rolls-Royce Energy Systems produces gas turbine power solutions globally for the oil and gas/power generation markets. The Project Planner will be part of the Project Planning & Control function within the Integrated Package Team but will work closely with both Engineering, Procurement and Project Management.
Key Accountabilities include…
• Logging and processing project documentation for Rolls-Royce using an intranet-based information management system.
• Creating and maintaining multiple spreadsheets used for tracking current and future projects.
• Interface with Engineering, Applications, Bid Support, Procurement, Project Management departments to coordinate build schedules.
• Develop and maintain planning schedules using Microsoft project and SAP software systems.
Position Requirements
Basic:
• Associate Degree
• Previous Engineering Project Analysis and Project Planning
• Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project
• Excellent Microsoft office products knowledge, with specific focus on Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional communication skills within a fast paced diverse environment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Preferred: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience…
• Previous experience in the oil and gas/power generation markets
• Project planning and scheduling experience
• Previous SAP experience is preferred
