Project Manager - Houston

Organizational Statement Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing has a new opening for a Project Manager. This position is responsible for providing technical oversight and project management for Capital projects. Also provides technical support for Business Development efforts.Responsibilities Provide ongoing Technical and Project Management support for assigned projects.Ensure projects are completed safely, within schedule and budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate all phases of capital projects including Scope, Design, Cost Estimates, ROW, Contractor Management, Procurement, Inspection, Construction and Commissioning activities working closely w/ operations and commercial staff.Interface externally with customers, vendors, and contractors; interface internally with business development, field operations, compliance, gas control, accounting, and regulatory departments.Ability to manage a diverse group of resources to execute the described project efforts Develops capital budgets and capital expenditures forecasts.Facilitates sharing of Best Practices. Provides follow-up on benefits gained by sharing Best Practices. Researches and provides documentation of Best Practices outside of the company to Asset Leadership.Provide project justification, economics, and alternatives analysis as required.Other Information Work performed in typical office and field environment. Frequent travel, including potentially flying offshore. The noise level in the environment is moderate.Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Pipeline and Facility Engineering/Project Management.Degree in Engineering.
