This position may support both corporate office and field major project teams. Working with individuals and team supervisors, develop achievable project schedules based on resource availability/constraints. Responsibilities of this position include the following: Develop work breakdown structures to support project activity scheduling. Monitor project schedules, focusing on progress against key milestones and deliverables. Help develop cost estimates, based on a defined technical scope. Develop project summary reports which provide tables and graphs of project earned value. Track, trend and report on cash flow, cost performance, and schedule performance. Interface with various corporate office and field teams on cost and budget issues, as well as procurement issues. Develop and manage project controls support function as it relates to cost, scope, schedule and risk. Communication and interpersonal skills for communicating requirements and establishing effective working relationships with Project Managers or other interested parties, in order to ensure optimal project execution and delivery.Requirements for this position include the following: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance, Engineering, Project Management or other related discipline  5 + years related experience with project scheduling or demonstrated knowledge of the project management life cycle process. Understanding of the operations of a regulated electrical utility.  Ability to create detailed Primavera project schedules and resource plans for large and complex projects based on input from engineering, field personnel, subcontractors and owners to create a master program schedule.  Leverage best practices by using templates and completed projects to build new projects. Ability to provide sound application of scheduling logic, constraints, lag/lead relationships, float management, etc to apply critical path scheduling methodology. Operational performance reporting across multiple projects and programs providing real-time visibility into the performance of project work enabling effective communication with other stakeholders.Knowledge of Company policies, practices and procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Provide direction to Project Managers and key project stakeholders concerning project milestones.Preference will be given to candidates who meet the above requirements and have the following: 7 +years Project controls experience with Primavera software in a Utility environment.
