Procurement Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

•

Leads and supervises a professional procurement (supply chain) team that supports expansion projects and operational material procurement.

• Provides performance reviews, guidance, professional development and solutions to those on the team & participates in the selection of contract and employee team members.

• Recommends, develops and implements policies, procedures and strategies for the department and insures that those on their team implement and adhere to them.

• Responsible for accurate forecasting and timely, cost effective purchase and delivery of materials and equipment used in construction or operations of Company facilities.

• Acts as agent for the company and has fiduciary responsibility and is authorized to negotiate and execute contracts.

• Participates in expansion project strategy development, planning, cash forecasting and risk tracker and Monte Carlo development.

• Handles complex procurement assignments, understands the supply chain & executes purchases for high value and high risk purchases of material and equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

 

•

College degree in business or equivalent work experience and have 8 years of progressive procurement experience or proven ability to quickly learn procurement and apply to daily work.

• Demonstrated ability to apply current supply chain principles and concepts to SEGT specific situations.

• Demonstrated experience in developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts and performance measurement.

• Demonstrated knowledge of major project procurement principles, strategies and tactics.

Demonstrated leadership experience of cross-functional teams and working groups.
