Principal Structural Engineer

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for a position as a Principal Structural Engineer in our Langhorne, PA office. The successful candidate should be self motivated and interested in working with a highly qualified team of engineering professionals to provide high quality technical service on a national basis. This position requires a minimum of 15 years progressive professional experience and an advanced degree in structural engineering (MS and BS with a concentration in structural engineering from an ABET accredited institution). Must possess Professional Engineering license and registration or be able to obtain within 1 year. The successful candidate will mentor junior engineering staff and integrate structural work with other disciplines as part of a design build team. Projects may include alternative renewable energy facilities (wind, solar, biofuels, etc.), coastal and marine facilities, industrial, solid waste, and military facilities throughout all 50 United States. Preferred experience includes: single and multi-storied building foundations, tower foundations, marine structures, process plant facility design, deep and shallow foundations, foundation underpinning, dewatering, and innovative solutions to complex structural problems. The successful candidate should have sound technical skills for analysis, knowledge of structural investigation techniques and have deep understanding of the civil and geotechnical ramifications of structural issues. This position will manage structural design teams for projects, develop concepts for mitigating structural issues to meet project requirements, and assist in resolving construction issues to integrate structural issues into multidisciplinary projects. The selected candidate should enjoy working on projects from inception to completion and being part of a motivated and highly skilled team.
