Principal Contract Consultant (Scana Project)

We are currently seeking a Principal Contract Consultant (US Projects) in our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit. Our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit, based out of our corporate headquarters in Monroeville, PA, specializes in product development, systems engineering, component design, equipment manufacturing, and project management for new nuclear power plants worldwide. It is within this Business Unit that developed the AP1000 design, the safest and most economical nuclear power plant available in the worldwide commercial market place.In this position, Contract Consultant can expect to perform the following duties: 1. Assist the Commercial Director by providing subject-matter expertise to the project team2. Support the Commercial Director in formulating, implementing and maintaining highly complex project plans/procedures to satisfy contractual requirements and achieve company financial objectives3. Review contracts addendums and amendments to identify contract compliance items and incorporate into a compliance matrix and workflow system4. Support the processing of variation orders/change orders by collecting information such as needs and organizational impact, estimating costs, drafting the order, Limit of Authority reviews and communicating the change5. Ensure proper tracking and completion of Westinghouse contract deliverables and commercial items such as liquidated damages and payment milestones. 6. Assist with contract compliance maintenance and execution by imputing actions, monitoring status, storing documents and generating reports from workflow systems such as WORKM and EDMSA successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:-Bachelor Degree in business-related, legal or technical discipline.-10 years of progressive experience in contract management of large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects.-Customer 1st Certification desired-MBA or JD degree is preferred -Training in financial skills associated with Project Managements. -Knowledge of local culture and business practices is desired for international projects.
