Planning and Design Supervisor

Connexus Energy is a progressive company which provides electricity to over 121,000 customers in a 7-county, north suburban area.  We currently have an opening for a leader to supervise the planning and design engineering team of 6 employees within a 23-member Engineering department.  The successful candidate will assist in establishing a capital construction budget, long/short range planning, and assign/assist with new three-phase commercial service applications and system improvements/road projects. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS
All candidates must possess the following qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar degree
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience in budgeting, project management and engineering planning
• Background related to system construction and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent people and team leading skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:
Favorable consideration will be given to candidates with operational experience including knowledge of RUS construction specifications and practices
