Pipeline Engineer

Our client is an integrated energy company headquartered in Houston, primarily focused on the exploration for and production of natural gas. Originally organized in 1929 as a local natural gas distribution company, today they are involved in natural gas distribution, midstream services and natural gas and crude exploration and production.

Responsibilities
-Build and maintain pipeline and compression models for gathering systems.
-With team determine the optimum pipeline route, size and compression requirements for systems. 
-Work closely with pipeline modeling consultant throughout all phases of planning and construction.
-Design and supervise construction of gathering lines and equipment.
-Prepare AFE quality estimates.
-Collaborate with Field Operations to create an environment of team work and efficiency.
-Monitor and approve project invoices.
-Work closely with management team on yearly budget development and implementation.

Qualifications
-Degree in Engineering
-1-4 years experience in pipeline, facilities or process engineering.
-Experience in modeling software: Advantica Stoner Pipeline Simulator, Gregg Engineering Winflow or G plus, Simsci Pipephase, Aspentech Hysys.
-Experience with Microsoft office suite: Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project, and Visio.
