Petrotechnical Application Support Analyst
SAIC currently has an opening for a Petrotechnical Application Support Analyst. The selected candidate will: Deliver technical and business solution support for all Drilling and Production applications. Work with and coach clients to help them use the technology more productively. Coordinate problem-solving efforts between customers and vendor service personnel, and recommend and implement proposed solutions. Minimum required skills: * Excellent communication and inter-personal skills * Application support experience such as trouble shooting problems, working with customers, meeting SLA's etc. * Knowledge of the Windows operating system (both desktop and server) such as file software installation, verifying & modifying registry settings, managing processes and services, etc. * Basic knowledge of any SQL database (Oracle preferred) * Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline Pluses: - Experience supporting drilling and production applications - Exposure to Oil and Gas operations - Experience with Landmark Drilling and Production applications, specifically: - DIMS - TOW - DSS - WellCat - Profile - EDM (Compass, Wellplan, StressCheck, and CasingSeat) - Experience with Peloton WellView - Ability to write SQL - Prior experience with a ticketing system - Prior experience with a change management system Company: SAIC Location: Houston, TX 77056 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Company: SAIC Reference Code: 121982
