We are looking for a Senior Drilling Completion Engineer to be based in our San Diego California headquarters.Â

Essential Job Duties: Oversee the planning and performance of drilling programs, completions and workovers. Work includes interacting with management staff and third party consultants, securing permits and generating work programs, AFEs and schedules. This includes occasional travel to well sites. Serve as the lead coordinator of field operations and provide technical assistance in well production. Areas of operation include Sacramento, San Joaquin and Uinta Basins Work with Geoscience staff to evaluate prospective reservoir for completions and workovers Collaborate with partner companies, consultants and vendors to maximize production and reduce costs Manage the reserve reporting. Work with third party reservoir engineering firms Manage PHD Win databases; perform pre-drill economics and quarterly evaluations Coordinate safety and environmental efforts to ensure compliance
 Requirements Master or Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering Must have a minimum of 10-15 years industry experience in drilling, completion, and reservoir engineering Prefer California and Rocky Mountain experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills for meetings, reports and negotiations Knowledge of SEC and SPE PRMS reserves Proficient in reserve economics software (prefer PHD Win) and Microsoft Office Products Willingness to travel up to 10-25% of the time
