Parts ListerDescription: Creation of Illustrated Parts Lists. This is done through the use of databases, which are modified to meet Sales Order specific configurations. Comparison of BOM’s, drawings, photo’s along with the use of several automated compare tools are used in this process. This position requires going out to the shop floor and observing the Turbine Machinery during build cycle, interfacing with Engineers to rectify discrepancies between documentation and actual package hardware. Third-Party vendors WILL NOT be considered for this position.Requirements: BA/BS Degree in Technical Writing, Industrial Arts, Communications, Engineering discipline or equivalent. Knowledge of standard technical information technologies including Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML), digital photography, database management software, literature production and distribution, electronic delivery. Experience in electronic publishing and graphic software programs such as Arbortext Adept or Epic, Interleaf, Framemaker, CADDS5, CAMU, PRO-E or AutoCad as well as Adobe Acrobat, Access, Excel, Word, WordPerfect and PowerPoint. Must have good mechanical, electrical, and hydromechanical aptitude. Strong customer focus, initiative, planning, organizing and good communications skills.
