Part-time Bill Clerk
Part-time bill clerk to work Monday through Wednesday beginning at 6:45 a.m. End of shift will vary depending on workload (anywhere from 11:00 a.m. to as late as 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.). Depending on workload could include Thursday and Friday shifts. Will be required to rotate through out the different stations in the A/R department. Job duties follow: - Separate mail; align envelopes to face same direction - Assess and separate mail according to different payment types - Jog batches in jogging machine - Load payments in Hopper, Start new batch, run approximately 500 batches a day - Record batch number, place in bin for balancing/sorting, and clean machine daily - Individually compare amount on check to encoded amount at bottom of check and verify with image of check - Gather appropriate info from check stubs, balance check drawer at end of day - Encode checks not processed through transport machine - Return payments that cannot be processed for various reasonsCandidates must: work well in a team environment, have good communication skills, be able to focus and stay on task while performing repetitive work, have excellent 10-Key skills, and have the ability to multi-task. This is a long term temporary assignment that could go permanent in 6 to 12 months for the right candidate.
