Overhead Line - Supervisor

As our Supervisor of Overhead Lines your primary daily responsibilities will include the planning, scheduling, and supervising of employees engaged in the construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and/or underground electric lines and associated equipment to insure safe, efficient and uninterrupted service to customers in a manner consistent with Company and regulatory requirements.  In addition, you will monitor productivity, direct Company personnel on construction, maintenance and daily operations while coordinating the planning with our customer, general foremen and other related departments and vendors ensuring standards, and environmental safety regulations are followed. 

You will be managing 70-100 employees.  There is a relocation for this position.

The pay for this area is from 80-85K a year plus an annual bonus of 10-15K.

Job Requirements:
5-7+ year’s electrical distribution experience or equivalent job related experience with distribution voltages Specialized training in basic electricity and electric theory, national application standards and job-related experience or knowledge equivalent to that acquired through completion of a two year Strong knowledge of standards for overhead construction, utility construction practices, equipment and material requirements, OSHA safety standards, environmental/hazardous material handling, national electric safety code and local ordinances. Demonstrated supervisor with strong leadership skills Proven oral and written communication skills including active listening skills. Knowledge of PC skills including Microsoft Office Valid driver’s license Power line Certification preferred
