We currently have the following career opportunities available: OPERATIONS MANAGER CANONSBURG, PA The Operations Manager-Westem District is responsible for day-to-day operational activities Including production optimization, cost management, and maintenance of a safe working environment for all employees. The current scope of operations includes produdng properties in Westmoreland, Fayette, Warren, Mercer and Buder Counties in Pennsylvania but may expand to Include any company-operated assets within the western side of the Appalachian Basin. Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent preferred and 10+ years experience in oil and Gas operations with strong preference for Appalachian Basin. Business and people management skills in addition to demonstrated computer proficiency necessary. Travel is required up to 50% of the time. Primary job functions include: Manage and execute dally operational activities and projects Identify and execute remedial well work to ensure optimal, continuous production Maintain pipeline and facility infrastructure integrity to maximize operational effidency Track and report operational performance; Assist Regional Manager in the development of operational budgets including expense and production forecasu Provide work direction to field operational staff and contractors ^ Establish a frequent, visible presence in the field Ensure operations are in compliance with all regulatory standards; maintain and promote a safe working environment for al employees FIELD/BASIN GEOLOGIST CANONSBURG, PA The Field / Basin Geologist will have exploration oversight to ensure the maximization of retum from existing assets and the acquisition and development of new assets. Will work closely with the business unit operating group and other technical support to locate and develop drilling opportunities, particularly unconventional gas opportunities and tertiary oil recovery methods. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can manage the region's geology and deliver on its exploration goals and commitments. Bachelor's degree in Geology with 5 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry; Master's preferred (three years experience w/advanced degree) Track record in prospect generation and strong business experience necessary. Strong leadership, Interpersonal and communication skills required with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment Must have ability to make dedsions in the presence of imperfect Information, work as a team player. Primary job functions include: Develop, evaluate and maintain a portfolio of exploration prospects and work with the respective Basin Manager to drill out best opportunities Work closely with partners, governmental agendes/departmentsand other third parry Interests Partidpate in special projects in support of new business opportunity evaluations Collaborate with Senior Management on development of strategic goals for the Basin and setting of priorities for resource utilization Please indicate the position for which you are app tying.
