Nuclear Power - HVAC Designers

Position Description:

This position will offer you the opportunity to work with project teams including mechanical, electrical and structural design personnel to develop HVAC physical layout drawings using airflow diagrams, and developing design in a 3-D model. Your responsibilities will include:* Preparing and reviewing such design deliverables independently as ductwork physical layout and Equipment Location Drawings.* Conducting field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities.* Planning and executing multiple project tasks.* Supervising and mentoring Designers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following:* 10+ years of detailed physical design experience in the development of HVAC, ductwork layout, and support design.* Experience in the review of HVAC equipment, physical layout including outlines and interface points, and coordinating and developing the associated deliverables.* Proficiency in MicroStation 3D design and equipment modeling.* Ability to interface with engineering and design teams of other disciplines in the power plant design process.* High school diploma and 1 or more years of drafting course work or equivalent technical experience.
