NI/CI Interface Engineer

This is an expat position located in Haiyang, China.We are currently seeking a Nuclear Island/Conventional Island Interface Engineer in our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit based out of Haiyang, China. It is within this Business Unit that developed the AP1000 design, the safest and most economical nuclear power plant available in the worldwide commercial market place.In this position, a NI/CI Interface Engineer can expect to perform the following duties:- Manage multiple AP1000 Nuclear Island design inputs from the various Westinghouse design organizations related to system parameters and design conditions- Interface with the Plant Owners to ensure the Nuclear Island design input is utilized in the design and procurement of the Conventional Island (e.g., Turbine Building)- Manage and lead the timely exchange of design interface data - Work with the Westinghouse design organizations to solve and address engineering technical issues - Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external personnelA successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:- A technical Bachelor or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with focus in Fluid Systems- 10+ years of applicable experience- Nuclear industry experience is required- Knowledge and experience working with multiple engineering organizations- Experience in managing complex and large-scale processes/projects is required- Fluency in Chinese would be an advantage Westinghouse technology is the basis for nearly half of the world's nuclear power plants.
