NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Tri-State is a non-profit, wholesale supplier of electric power to 44 distribution cooperatives in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and New Mexico

 

Position involves corporate computer network direction and implementation including network operating systems, related hardware and software, failure analysis, monitoring, tuning and integration with existing platforms.

 

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent.

 

Five (5) years of IT and workstation experience with a large multi-user system including:

 

Two (2) years of Desktop/Ethernet LAN support including hardware/software installation and repair experience (may be concurrent with experience requirement listed above) on commonly used workstations.

 

Four (4) years of network experience in a client/server environment.  Workstation OS experience in IOS, WINDOWS, Linux and UNIX experience highly desirable.
