Job Requirements:
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.

Five (5) years heavy mining equipment maintenance experience on shovels, drills and/or draglines or three (3) years work experience and completion of two (2) year mechanical or welding vo-tech school.

Welding repairs to include, but not limited to: Carbody revolving frame and boom repairs; gusset fabrication and installation; bore buildup in preparation for remachinging; handrail and ladder repair to include pipe cutting and welding; wear plate removal and installation; cutting edge, teeth and adapter removal and installation.

Mechancial repairs to include, but not limited to: shovel, dragline component system rebuilds; change out minor components such as batteries, starters, alternators, battery cables, v-belts; operate lube truck to fuel equipment, lube equipment and change oil filters as necessary in the field.

Understanding of safe rigging practices.

Able to troubleshoot and repair automatice lube systems.

Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.Job Code : 295 Travel Required : None
