Material Handler/Dock Worker
We need you in Virginia Beach, VA! Ferrellgas depends on their Material Handlers/Dock Workers to keep our operation running. Ferrellgas customers are use to the best in service and delivery, and the material handler is critical to our success. You will be responsible for inspecting, filling and loading propane cylinders for drivers and customers. You must be able to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs. The material handler promotes safety and customer satisfaction. Essential Functions: · Inspects, paints, repairs and loads cylinders.· Under supervisor, handles and maintains flow of materials and products under safety guidelines.· Maintains Service Center office and plant or yard for a professional appearance. Experience: · Must have a high school diploma or equivalent· Valid driver’s license· At least 18 years of age· 0-2 years of experience Ferrellgas offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k), Employee Stock, paid holidays, vacation, and bonus potential.
