Manufacturing Engineer II

Position ResponsibilitiesPerforms the installation and qualification of new submodule processing equipment such as heat treatment ovens, wet processing equipment, and sputter coaters. Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues in the submodule line. Identify and/or implement system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield and product performance goals. Essential Job Functions: Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements. Gauge setup and maintenance. Develop and maintain process control plans. Design and execute planned process experiments, collect and analyze data and report experimental results. Develop and update internal documentation including drawings, standard operating procedures, and process specifications. Responsible for data collection relating to daily equipment performance and associated product performance. Responsible to interface with internal associates and supplier representatives as required to complete assigned projects. Provide training to other engineers, engineering technicians, and production associates. Responsible for solving day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems. · Maintain effective communication with production associates and manufacturing engineers. · Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards. Qualification Requirements: Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline. General electrical/electronic knowledge. History of successful problem solving Experience with new equipment startup and qualification Sputtering/ deposition experience preferred Proven mechanical skills. Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Excellent problem solving skills Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and SPC tools. Minimum of 5 years experience as a process/manufacturing engineer, preferably in a high tech industry See Job Description.
