Manager, Project Controls

Organizational Statement Enbridge Liquids Pipelines, Inc., a leader in crude oil and natural gas transportation, gathering and processing, is currently seeking a Manager, Project Controls at our office in Superior, WI.Reporting To Project DirectorResponsibilities Manage People & ResourcesDevelop, lead, and motivate a team of full-time resources and/or contracted resources in delivering reliable and effective development, support, and enhancement of Project Controls. Such resources may be physically located elsewhere across North America.Influence collaboration and integration across Major Projects, and other business units such as Liquids Pipelines, to ensure priorities are aligned, and to ensure Major Projects processes are effectively utilized and supported, by establishing and maintaining an effective internal network.Provide guidance and expertise to project leaders by helping them structure projects into elements (WBS), set contracts against the elements and design control data gathering and reporting systems.Manage the planning risk, compliance and master scheduling process for a projectManage ProcessesOversee and assist Project Leaders and other managers with all aspects of cost control, contracting, invoicing, schedules, compliance, risk, reporting, gating and other control processesWork with other Project, PMO and EPC leaders to establish and champion standard ¿best-practices¿ business process discipline across Major Projects to support the delivery and use of common project management solutions, provide for repeatable standardized project management initiatives, and adherence to the principles of standardization.Play a key role in the assessment and planning of strategic and operational excellence opportunities. Manage Priorities & InitiativesEnsure the planning and control activities are aligned with the Major Project¿s business priorities by facilitating collaboration and integration across stakeholder groups.Effectively integrate special initiatives and multiple projects across project programsFoster Continuous ImprovementProactively gather intelligence from across Enbridge and externally to assess immediate and future impacts on Major Project¿s applications, processes, and priorities.Qualifications Well developed leadership skill with the ability to interact with a wide range of management levels, coupled with a strong ability to raise and resolve complex and often competing business issues.Proven communication, planning, and organizational skills.Ability to manage concurrent initiatives and conflicting priorities.University degree with a background in finance, engineering, and/or project management.Over 10 years of management experience in/with strong exposure to project controls and schedules.Equal Employment Opportunity We appreciate your interest in Enbridge Energy Company, Inc.
