If you are a proactive, entrepreneurial and enthusiastic about sustainable energy, we invite you to "Come Shine with Us!"   Position In this position you will work independently and also with other SolarWorld personnel to perform preventive, predictive and routine tasks in our Module Assembly environment. You will also troubleshoot problems, repair failures of production equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include being assigned equipment sets to improve utilization and report weekly on equipment status and improvements that are being carried out. Primary responsibilities for this position include: Program robot for series of manipulator (arm-hand) moves (movements) manually or by electronic instructions to a microprocessor or by setting up and adjusting sequence by hand-held teach pendant. Troubleshoot to determine robot malfunctions, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Troubleshoot, repair, problem-solve, and maintain electrical control problems for all manufacturing equipment. Disassemble robots and/or peripheral equipment to repair or replace defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, servo valves, or automatic lubrication systems. Requirements The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: A minimum of a 2-year degree in a technical discipline desired; and not less than 3 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment working on highly automated manufacturing equipment. Degree in Electrical, Robotics, Electronic Engineering or similar technical discipline required. Ability to alter and or write programs for PLC's (SIEMENS / Allen Bradley / BECKHOFF) FANUC / REIS robotic programming experience desired but not required.
