We are currently looking for a Lighting Service Technician who lives in the Tampa/St. Pete area to service our lighting maintenance clients in a territory spreading north to Gainesville, south to Naples, east to Lakeland and west to the gulf coast.This individual will manage a route to maintain lighting systems for our many retail clients. Responsibilities include maintenance/repair/troubleshooting of interior and exterior lighting systems.

Working on ladders or with scaffolding will be required.

Maintaining accurate records, following instructions closely and updating supervisor on work status is very important.

Must be able to regularly lift 30-40 pound loads. Overnight travel is required up to 50%, with usually no weekend work.

Attention to safety issues is extremely important in this position. Maintaining  an accurate driver's log in compliance with DOT regulations is essential as is performing routine safety inspections of the company vehicle.

Maintaining a tidy and organized company vehicle and inventory in a storage facility will be required.

Personal transportation to get to the storage facility is required. The company vehicle is NOT for personal use.

Overtime work at time and-a-half is often available. NES provides hotels and per diem when traveling. A valid driver's license is required. A licensed electrician will be given hiring preference.
