Land Lease Agent - In House
Pittsburgh based natural gas producer and energy company, is looking for an experienced In-House Land Lease Agent for full time employment, primarily, in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Duties & Responsibilities:Establish mineral ownership by reviewing county courthouse recordsAcquisition of oil and gas leases, rights of way, easements and title curative documentsNegotiation and preparation of the necessary legal documentsTimely reports and mapping of lease and rights of way activitiesSupport activities of other departments to accommodate aggressive drilling programsNegotiate damage settlements
Required Skills:Planning and time managementStrong communication (written and oral) and negotiation skillsAbility to research mineral ownership and an understanding of legal descriptionsKnowledge of oil and gas land terminology and lease terms, oil and gas law and property lawAptitude in Microsoft Word and ExcelMinimum of five years experience
