JUNIOR ENGINEER, PROCUREMENT

 

LEBANON, PA

 

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

The individual will work in a project department along side requisition engineers, project engineers as well as project managers, project planning and shipping coordinator. A strong emphasis will be placed on understanding engineering design drawings, purchase order and contract terms as well as Primavera project schedules.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Estimate for environmental control projects covering equipment such as pump, blower, instruments, fabricated carbon steels and alloys, FRP piping, filter, controls and construction material.

·  Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, procure and expedite with vendors and contractors.

·  Review and execute purchase orders and change orders.

 

DESIRABLE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

·  Minimum education; Technical or engineering associate degree

·  Minimum of 2 years of related experience

·  Word and Excel, SAP a plus
