•Salary/Wage:100,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD /yearExcellent salary, benefits, bonus potential, work environment •Job Category:IT/Software Development Growing international oilfield Services Company needs a JD Edwards E1 Technical Manager for their Galleria area location.  MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES The Technical Manager is responsible for supervising and guiding the team on all development related to E1. In addition, the Technical Manager design, implements, maintains and troubleshoots the infrastructure required to support JDE E1.  Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to employees being managed:  -CNC team: Resources in charge of the E1 infrastructure including web servers, portal servers, Create Print servers, etc  -Security team: Manages access for all JDE users and roles in the system. In charge of designing and enforcing security standards to comply with internal controls and SOX requirements.  -Technical/ Development team: Responsible for all customization to JDE, new reports, forms, tables, portal, interfaces, etc. also responsible for troubleshooting all technical issues with the application.  TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES  Ability to successfully manage complex projects that most likely includes subprojects managed by project leaders or coordinators. Participate in IT resource planning. Assigns development work to technical team based on availability and resource experience. Manage functional area risks and issues, escalating for resolution if necessary. Manage SOX controls associated with changes to the application and security Must work with business owners and functional team to understand requirements, advise on potential solutions and assign and supervise development work Must work with Functional IT team members to during the gathering of requirements ans testing phases of the project and initiatives. Support all audit and SOX efforts by maintaining the proper evidence and working with auditors to explain evidence, and control processes. Work with end users to troubleshoot issues, assist with security, and to guide them in general.  REQUIREMENTS: Expert CNC with extensive JDE E1 8.12 experience Deep understanding of JDE security, how to implement it and support it Enough functional experience to be able to translate business requirements to technical efforts. Able to create technical specification documentation based on functional requirements. Able to develop or troubleshoot other resources code as final approver before promotion to production. Ability to work with server operating system for setup andor troubleshooting EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. CNC certification  SKILLS Technical:7+ years progressive work experience as CNC JDE E1 5+ years Development experience with JDE E1 3+ years supervisory and/or management experience with technical/CNC team. Ability to read and write DB2SQL database queries. SOX/Audit experience implementing and maintaining controls Deep understanding of E1 8.12 security Solid analysis skills to design technical solutions to business problems Advanced communication, conflict resolution capabilities Work effectively in a dynamic environment where shifting priorities frequently alter work plans, or require multitasking to achieve desired outcome. Requires solid analysis, planning and organizational skills; capable of managing and reporting on projects throughout the project lifecycle.
