Instrumentation & Controls Engineer / Power Generation Experience
DescriptionSystem One is currently seeking experienced Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineers.Our client is a comprehensive engineering, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance firm providing services to both private and governmental clients around the world. Their professional services extend from project inception to operations and maintenance. Persons in this role will be responsible for development of instrumentation and controls work products and will utilize a variety of engineering programs. Work will include controls for pumps, valves, and other process equipment.Knowledge of industry codes and standards will be utilized. This position will include work with DCS/PLC systems, and work will be performed in DOE, nuclear plants, or other high tech facilities. Salary is highly competitive and dependent on experience level.RequirementsMinimum 9-15 years of experience working on power and process plant related projects. BS in Engineering or related field is required. Strong working knowledge of the control of pumps, valves, and other process equipment. Experience is required in development of instrumentation work products to include: instrument lists, instrument data sheets, specifications, loop and logic diagrams. Knowledge in application of DCS/PLC systems. Proficient in the use of various engineering programs. Experience working with DOE, nuclear plants, or other high tech facilities is strongly preferred. Current knowledge and experience with industry codes and standards including NEC. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. US citizenship is required. Prior security clearance is a plus.
