Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, is an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations. We own and operate power plants, and are the second-largest nuclear generator in the United States. This position will be located at our Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant in Vernon, VT.

This posting is for a prospective Enexus and EquaGen Company Position.
- Staffing decisions will be made in a manner anticipated to result in the future success of both Enexus and EquaGen, while maintaining continued success of the Entergy System.
- Job offers for Enexus and EquaGen positions will be contingent on several factors, including the formation of the Enexus and EquaGen legal entities and the consummation of the spin transaction, which is anticipated to occur in the latter part of 2008.
- External candidates who accept offers will become employed by the Entergy System pending the spin transaction and internal candidates will remain with their Entergy System employer pending the spin transaction.
- Further information regarding compensation, benefits, relocation will be provided during the selection process.
Responsibilities:
Interface with line personnel to analyze performance needs and recommend appropriate training solutions. Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate training materials and programs using the systematic approach to training. Administer and coordinate training programs for sites and corporate groups as assigned.
Qualifications:
INSTRUCTOR:
5 years instrument and control related experience (commercial or military) or a B.S. in education. Technical proficiency in the assigned area. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
SR. INSTRUCTOR:
Any of the following qualifications warrant designation as a “Senior Instructor”: 12 Years commercial nuclear plant experience, or An SRO license or certification, or B.S. degree in Education, Science, or Technology and three years nuclear training experience (commercial or military), or B.S. degree in Education, Science, or Technology and three or more years experience teaching or developing curriculum in an education or academic environment.
