Industrial Inside Sales

Southwest Wire Rope LP, the retail division of Teleflex Heavy Lift is a well-established fabricator and distributor of wire rope and its hardware and the prime supplier of material handling, lifting and mooring products.

 

As our company grows, we are seeking to add another member to our superb Customer Service/Inside Sales team.  This position would be responsible for:

 Handling inbound sales lead calls and converting calls into sales Preparing quotes for customers and preparing sales orders for orders obtained using DCS order entry system Building and maintaining customer relationships Entering new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database Working with full sales team Investigating and resolving customer problems with deliveries

 

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

 High School Diploma or equivalent Some college preferred 3 to 5 years of related experience in industrial setting Good computer skills to easily navigate through Microsoft Outlook Ability to quickly adapt and learn new computer software program (DCS) Ability to effectively work with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills to inform and persuade customers via telephone Good writing skills to prepare quotes and send business communications via fax and/or e-mail General knowledge of wire rope products is highly desirable
