Human Resources Systems Lead

The HR Systems Lead will be a liaison between the Benefits unit within Human Resources and the IT team to translate needs into functional requirements.   Key components of the position are: --SAP knowledge--Business analysis and process improvement--HR/IT related project experience--Benefits knowledge Will be responsible for:-- the Human Resources Systems initiative and efficiency improvement projects for a specific line of HR business (e.g. learning management, benefits, performance optimization, or talent management). Core Activities to encompass:--Strategy- work with HR business lines to establish strategic direction for technology use and align tech vision to business needs/plans. --Business Analysis- Gather and documents business requirements and create functional requirements. --Process Improvement- Review current state business processes and determine improvement opportunities (create associated functional requirements, training, change management, etc. to implement improvements). --Testing Management- Review and approve functional test cases and scenarios that are created by the ISTS testing team to ensure full coverage.  Organize and conduct user acceptance tests with HR business lines. --Project Prioritization- determine and rank fixes, enhancements, and new functionality needs across HR. --Project Management- serve as co-product manager on releases, updates, and new applications/ functionality (how does this work?). --User Support- provide tier 2 support to end users of HR systems.Job Qualifications are:--5+ yrs. HR Systems experience (SAP experience strongly preferred)--a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience--previous experience with business analysis for large scale systems--knowledge of process analysis and improvement techniques Additional info: Strong communication skills are needed.  Highly consultative role, ideally Accenture/Deloitte-type experience. Lead will be working side by side with Benefits Manager and Operations Manager.  Do not need to be experts in SAP; should be excellent at process and analysis; able to translate needs into implementation.  Company offers generous relocation policy.
