Help Desk
The primary role of this position is to expedite phone calls arriving at the Help Desk and provide basic help desk services for internal employees and contractors.
• Answer phones for the Help Desk and collect customer and problem details
• Expedite common service requests like password changes, conference call setups and software installs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Adhere to company core values: stewardship, integrity, safety, accountability and excellence
•HS diploma or GED
•Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
•Passion for learning new technologies, procedures and processes
•Strong desire to provide positive customer experiences
•Exposure to help desk duties in a Microsoft XP and Office XP environment.
•Basic knowledge and exposure in Office 2007
•Experience with ticketing systems (BMC Remedy preferred)
•Ability to understand and clearly relate to other members of the organization, technical manuals, software specifications, and workflow processes.
•Must have the ability to learn quickly and retain high levels of technical information
•Must be able to multi-task effectively
