Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, is the second largest nuclear generation company in the United States. Entergy is planning to spin off its non-utility wholesale nuclear business into a new independent publicly traded company, Enexus. In connection with that transaction, Enexus and Entergy intend to enter into a nuclear services joint venture, EquaGen. At this time, we are seeking applicants for prospective employment with EquaGen and Enexus.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available at EquaGen for a HR Specialist (School Relations) located in Jackson, MS.

Position Description:

This position is responsible for being the one point of contact with clients to help them define and realize their hiring needs. This position develops a recruiting plan for clients and discusses needs definition, hiring sources, and a strategic approach to filling current and future hiring needs.

Major Duties: Source for internal, external and college openings Develop recruiting plans to meet client hiring needs Serve as hiring point-of contact (job requisition, job offers, candidate assessment, selection, career planning, salary etc.) for client Serve as a partner to hiring managers and offer assistance and guidance in the hiring process. Work with field HR and other HR groups to serve clients Administer the internal job position program Provide hiring policy & process interpretation Conduct candidate screening Conduct phone interviewing Handle special projects



Position Requirements

Qualifications:B. S. Degree required Ability to handle multiple openings and projects Provide exceptional customer service to clients Posses excellent communication skills both verbally and orally Be a strong team player and assist fellow team members as needed Be self-motivated and able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment minimum 1 year of recruiting and consulting experience, preferably in a high-volume environmentEntergy offers excellent benefits including relocation, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, paid vacation, holidays and more!
