Human Resources Rep II
PURPOSE:
The HR Rep II is a true generalist supporting a client group in all areas of HR including compensation, benefits, training, staffing and employee relations. The person needs to be organized, accurate, multi tasked and detail oriented. They should also be able to gather and analyze information skillfully, maintain confidentiality and maintain a professional and pleasant phone demeanor. Must enjoy being part of a broader HR team and contributing to its success.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with employee inquiries: company policy information, benefits, address changes, procedures etc.Develop, research, and/or update policies and procedures as necessary Educate management and employees on policies and procedures Facilitate benefit open enrollmentsDaily administration of benefits and compensation programsCoach managers in employee relations issuesOrganization and processing of all HR related paperwork Provide benefit and compensation reports/information to employees and authorized persons on requestCommunication and organization of employee participation in benefit and compensation enrollments/updates/changesParticipate in the organization of company/employee activities as neededPayroll support as neededInputs data into and extracts reports from HRIS system (ADP HRB product).The HR Generalist position also includes the following: policy interpretation, orientation programs, wage analysis, recruiting, coaching, counseling and legal compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:Excellent customer service skills and record of working in organizations where HR has been a business partnerMicrosoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, & ADP/HRB productsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills & FlexibilitySolid understanding of HR law and processes with the ability to create, organize and implement required initiatives and procedures Ability to multitask with attention to detail and accuracyExperience: 5+ years HR generalist experience
EDUCATION:BA in Human Resources, business or related/equivalent
combination of education and experienceSPHR/PHR Certification a plus
