HR Business Partner, Principal
Position Overview The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for working closely with assigned lines of business as their HR strategic advisor and collaborator for implementing new programs and maintaining existing programs.  Represents both HR and business unit in planning, implementing strategy and leadership sessions to ensure initiatives are achieved.  Involved in the handling of all sensitive HR issues by enlisting Subject Matter Experts and assuming the role of HR contact with other departments. Responsible for leading, motivating and developing staff/teams. Responsibilities Partner with Leadership Team (Officers/Directors) to determine strategies needed to drive results for the business.  Support execution of strategies and change initiatives. Identify the organizational capabilities required to execute the business strategy. Provide executive coaching and organizational consulting for senior leadership to improve their individual effectiveness and the effectiveness of their organization. Address and resolve complex HR issues that arise directly from the business and/or HR Consultants. Work with department leadership to recommend solutions and strategies to resolve HR issues Develop business unit and HR objectives/goals that align with the enterprise and business unit strategy and HR vision. Collaborate with colleagues in other HR functions to create HR solutions and deploy needed HR resources. Manage organization impact of HR policies, programs, and processes. Manage HR projects internal to HR and the client. This includes overseeing  performance management efforts including the full cycle of performance optimization Promote HR programs and services and advocate the use of direct access including self-serve options. Direct and organize clients around utility HR products and services. Effectively communicate tactical direction.   Required BS degree or equivalent 8 years of increasing management responsibilities (hiring, coaching, team development, project management, budget) 6 years of human resources managerial experience with responsibilities ranging from employee relations, training and employee development Ablility to reorganize work structure to changing business requirements Must possess strong leadership capabilities and in-depth knowledge of PG&E's mission, vision, and strategy along with knowledge of the energy industry environment  Desired MBA or Master's degree Human Resources certification programs desirable to maintain current on labor relations and wage and hour issues POSITION INFORMATION Job Title: HR Business Partner, Principal Company: Pacific Gas & Electric Company Location: San Francisco Job Type: Full Time, Employee Industry: Energy and Utilities Occupation: Managing Partner - Law Firm Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) CONTACT INFORMATION Company: Pacific Gas & Electric Company Contact: DeWitt, Kelly Address: San Francisco, CA 94105 Reference Code: 08001152
