Graphic Design Specialist

Role The Graphic Design Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing graphics and layout for consumer publications and company-wide material including but not limited to presentations, newsletters, brochures, inserts, illustrations, collateral and other vehicles such as web. The position includes audio/visual set-up and breakdown for business meetings. The position will require the ability to interact with all levels of management, writers and various vendors to determine their needs and design and propose solutions. This person selects and coordinates outside design related services as well as project bid solicitations, budget administration and associated record keeping. 

This individual will also prepare computer files and perform prepress functions for intermediate and advanced graphic materials such as newsletter, brochures, and other material. A basic knowledge of Web Design and be able to create and edit web graphics and create web pages, is needed. Project management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven team environment.  Working knowledge of laser printers, ink jet printers, large format plotters, scanners, CD burners and digital cameras, is needed.  They will also stay current with the latest methods, techniques and programs available in the graphic design and web industry.

 

Qualifications A minimum of five years experience in graphic design, ideally in a corporate setting.  Solid knowledge of QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Word, FrontPage and Powerpoint.

 

Compensation $29.30 - $29.98
