Global Training and Development Lead Location: Miami, FL Manages Others: NoReporting: Reports directly to Director of Talent DevelopmentReq'd Travel:  Moderate US / Limited Outside of US Past Titles:  Corporate Trainer, Training Coordinator, Training Specialist, Training Manager, Technical Trainer, Sales Trainer, etc.  Summary  Design, develop, and implement customized training in Sales, Operations, Management and Leadership and General Employee areas.Accountabilities and Deliverables Develop training, documentation (on-line and paper-based), on-line help, and other training solutions. Design, develop and implement a variety of training interventions including TTT, classroom based instruction, multimedia and/or web-based training solutions within timeframe and budget. Also provide talent development consultation for colleagues corporate-wide on all items or issues related to training and process improvement. Required Qualifications 5 plus years in technical training design and delivery, with specific expertise and experience in design & delivery of Sales, Management, Development/Leadership, and Operational training programs & interventions Successful experience in training design and implementation required Superior communication skills (oral and written) Excellent analytic skills Experienced and comfortable with technology Masters complex systems quickly Prior experience with TTT, classroom based, multimedia, and  web/alternative based instructional interventions, as well as experience in electronic performance support systems, and  technical writing Bachelor’s degree or equivocate: Advanced Degree in related field highly desirable Appropriate certifications in various training and instructional design areas  Additional Qualifications (Desired)  Advanced studies and professional development in instructional design or performance improvement preferred Highly proficient at instructional analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation methodologies. Highly motivated and dedicated professional. Willing to do what it takes to meet internal and external customer needs. Ability to travel, and handle evening & weekend work hours as needed. Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional organization and ability to multitask. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web tools Hands-on experience in designing and implementing e-learning and online assessment programs preferred. Experience in organizational analysis, needs assessment, and developing performance improvement solutions a plus.Core Competencies 1.  Analysis Perform needs assessment and job task analysis to identify business training needs and performance improvement solutions. With input from stake holders, recommend training and systematic performance improvement solutions. 2. Curriculum Development/Instructional Delivery Perform job task analysis with regards to using new Oracle system, as well as others as required, and establish learning objectives in support of job tasks. In collaboration with subject-matter-experts and field stake holders, develop and update appropriate training curriculum. Curriculum materials would likely include classroom student manuals, presentations, instructor guides, exercises, tutorials, and e-learning programs. Successfully facilitate end users, TTT, and other instructional delivery options, as needed 3.  Assessment In collaboration with subject-matter-experts and field stake holders, develop knowledge and skill assessment tools, such as test items, scenarios, and hands-on projects, which are used to assess student learning and skill readiness. These assessment tools must be aligned with learning objectives and tasks, and can be reliably executed. Implement testing solutions online, track results and perform reporting and analysis to identify areas for improvement. 4.  Project Management Serve as training project manager and coordinate with subject-matter-experts, field stake holders, and other development resources (internal or contract resources) to meet curriculum development and project timelines and budget. Manage contract development resources assigned to projects. 5.  Teamwork Collaborate with a wide variety of functional teams within WFS, such as business analysis, product development, technical support, solution design, product marketing, and a wide variety of end-users to support Oracle launches and on-going training, as required. Support Talent Development operations. Support and mentor other employees, as required, regarding training and development. Professionally represent WFS and Talent Development in all interactions with customers and business partners.
