Geosciences & Reservoir Subsurface Lead, Procurement & SCM (US)

Description:The development, implementation and management of a Global SCM Geosciences & Reservoir Management Subsurface Sub-Sector to optimally match supply and demand and introduction of new technologies across asset, geographical and organizational boundaries. The individual will drive and lead cross-functional strategy development and sourcing delivery within defined market sector (s). This role is also expected to Provide support for the Sector Manager to maintain accountability, establishing vision, setting strategic direction and manage resources effectively to support, develop and execute value added BP business plans.Qualifications:- Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer- The willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position- Minimum of a University degree (Four year / Bachelor's degree) in Reservoir Engineering.- Relevant purchasing and supply chain experience, commercial experience- Demonstrates basic application of Market sector strategy development & application - Demonstrates skilful application of Demand management, Supply chain risk management, Supplier performance management, Materials management, Project Management Skills, Financial Skills - Demonstrates mastery of Sourcing, Contract execution and management, Negotiating and Influencing Strategy - Sponsors and collaborates on developing internal & external relationships, creating the future - Relevant Geosciences & Reservoir Management domain expertise - including engineering, operations management, product management, business development, sales & or marketing across one or more of they key disciplines - Geology, Geophysics, Well Planning, Reservoir Engineering, and or Petroleum Engineering- Relevant Geosciences & Reservoir Management affiliation - Advocates and proactively supports living by BP Values, implementing the Code of Conduct & BPs Management Framework, delivering process & personal safety, driving to make a difference, bringing out the best in people, performance management, commercial focus - Relevant professional training, development and affiliationSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Houston, TXJob Number: RUSABP2210-609002Company Profile:Our business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy. PSCM provides procurement and supply chain management for oil and natural gas exploration, development and production and related transportation and processing activities. The PSCM function is envisioned as a key lever to provide a significant contribution to BP&os;s bottom line and is in the midst of implementing a new Strategy to enable BP to meet its targets on cash costs, capital expenditures and production.
