Advance your career in the dynamic nuclear power industry by joining the worldwide, motivated team of employees at Westinghouse Electric Company, the global leader in nuclear operations, experience and technology.Westinghouse Electric Company, Western Zirconium Plant, is seeking qualified applicants for production operators at its zirconium metal manufacturing facility, located 12 miles west of Ogden, Utah.Responsibilities include working in a team environment to operate various types of equipment and carefully monitor various chemical and furnace processes in order to detect problems and make necessary adjustments.These positions require:* High School Diploma or GED * Six (6) months production and/or manufacturing experience (may include industrial manufacturing using raw materials and machines, production or assembly line work, farm work and machinery, construction work and automotive repair)* Able to destinguish color to work in Reduction DepartmentAble to lift 40 lbs.* Forklift certification preferred but not necessary Westinghouse technology is the basis for nearly half of the world's nuclear power plants.
