Field Service Technicians

Installation/Maintenance/Repair Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Field Service Technicians Description: Preparing inspection tools and support equipment for transportation to job site, assisting customers and field personnel in the preparation, launching and trapping of inspection equipment, mechanical refurbishment of equipment onsite, cleaning equipment after project completion, maintaining paperwork connected with the project (such as check list and daily field reports) Ideal individual will be prepared to progress rapidly in order to advance to levels requiring more knowledge of the basics tool functions, data checks and confirmation of information gathered during the field survey as well as onsite troubleshooting of equipment.               Requirements:     Position Requirements: ·Extended periods of travel throughout North America ·2yr Degree in Mech. or Elec. application or related experience ·Clean Driving Record          · Prior Pipeline experience a plus  ·Computer Literacy (working knowledge of windows based programs (word & excel) · Good Organizational Skills 2-5yr. exp. in Pipeline or Oil & Gas Industry (preferred)   · 3-month training period (hands–on maintenance assisted work shop related) ·3-6 month training onsite (software, client communication, tool handling, proper launching and receiving training)    Field Technician should be considered a trainee or crewmember. This candidate will not independently perform any maintenance, pipeline inspection or interpretation. candidate must work with an experienced and certified individual.   Candidate must be mechanically inclined with a desire to succeed.
