Description:The Kansas Facilities team is seeking a facilities engineer to provide technical field support for the Ulysses field and to provide project management capability, as required, to support drilling and operations activities.Qualifications:-Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer-Must not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., TN, H1B status)-Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry-Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering degree-Must have a strong Health, Safety and Environmental focus and commitment-Strong interpersonal, communication and diversity skills-Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision-Self motivated and able to work both independently and as a good team playerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Ulysses, KSJob Number: RUSABP2221-611059Company Profile:Our business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy. BP's Exploration and Production segment focuses on finding reserves of oil and gas, developing the means to extract and process it and then consistently producing and transporting it to market. The largest community in BP's Exploration and Production (E&P) Segment, around 6000 people work in operations, essentially delivering oil and gas from the wellhead to the market. Operations staff play a significant role at all stages of the exploration and production cycle - providing input to a project from early appraisal all the way through to full production.
