Energy Project Developer

We are seeking the right motivated individual to join our internationally educated team in the position of Engineer.
Manager – Energy Project Development
POSITION SUMMARY
R Reporting to the Managing Director of Operations for the region. Work includes identification of energy projects at customer sites of energy efficiency and cogeneration projects. Will be responsible for project leadership, cost estimating, and schedule and scope development. Coordinates project schedule, scope, budget, quality, prevent budget overruns and schedule delays, develop and evaluate schedules, and conceptual construction documents.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Visit sites and identify opportunities for energy efficiency or CHP or other renewable energy opportunities
· Develop, write, and review customer proposal documents. Financial and technical sections.
· Develops engineering economics of projects.
· Develops conceptual design of projects.
· Solicits equipment and subcontractor quotes
· Assess energy conservation measures for financial and technical viability.
· Work with energy engineering team to develop overall financial model for projects.
· Manage project development team during proposal cycle.
· Manage project development budgets.
· Work with Sales Executives to present proposals.
· Provide technical and financial sales support to Sales Executives.
RELATIONSHIP TO OTHERS
Frequent internal contacts with all levels of management and employees, as well as external clients, customers, and investors.

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in business or industry-related field, such as project, electrical or mechanical engineering, or construction project management.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years’ energy services/construction related workBackground in energy analysis or other ESCO work preferred Experience in project or construction management of energy projects preferredDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships. Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skillsMS Excel, Word, Project Experience Required U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required. Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing. Will require travel.
