You'll be working with a dynamic team with an impressive track record. This position reports to the Director of Technical Services. The Energy Manager shall be responsible for developing comprehensive energy programs and projects for our existing Education and Healthcare Clients throughout New York City, Long Island and Hudson River Valley regions. The position may require up to 75% day travel with very limited overnight travel expected. The Energy Manager facilitates the identification, development and implementation of energy management projects and protocols. These critical initiatives help the programs exceed the overall energy reduction goals and objectives. The Energy Manager develops and maintains effective customer rapport, provides guidance and training to help others (internally to ARAMARK and externally to the client) efficiently operate the facility power plants, chiller plants, and HVAC Systems.This position offers accelerated professional growth opportunities for an experienced professional who can manage multiple technical projects for our client, manage people and client relationships, and ensure quality of service delivery. Position Responsibilities - Direct Responsibility for developing & managing energy, operations and maintenance initiatives- Schedule internal technical resources to ensure project implementation is prioritized- Ensure quality of service delivery & maintain client satisfaction- Communicate daily with the Director, Technical Resources- Apply Technical Service Standards - Experience: Develop and implement energy management programs- Education: BS in Engineering - Experience: minimum of 5 years related experience- PE License, CEM, and/or LEEDS Certification is a plus- Working knowledge of building mechanical systems, i.e. boilers, chillers, and HVAC/R and knowledge of Building Management Systems - Possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (oral & written)- Strong analytical & technical skills- Strong organizational and computer skills
