Team has an exciting opportunity for someone with an ECS/LDAR background to join our team in the Louisville, KY area. ABOUT THE POSITION: GENERAL SUMMARY: Works and performs a variety of physical and non-physical duties, usually working in a capacity by transferring from one project to another or from one task to another as required by supervision. Requires the ability to work with and without direct supervision. Does not ordinarily perform work requiring the exercising of independent judgment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Field Duties Assists Technician 2 in the field while performing company work. Learns and gains experience in the duties of a Technician during daily fieldwork and on-the -job training sessions. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Method 21 emissions monitoring Component taggin Simple maintenance Analyzer calibration Identifying open ended lines or valve Tag maintenance and/or replacement Identifies circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment. Properly uses and completes customer and company job related forms and paperwork. Properly uses, cares for and maintains monitoring equipment and company vehicles. Communicates and deals with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company. This communication is in person at the plant / job site. Learns and abides by Company policies and procedures. Office Duties Learns all Company products and services that are available to our customers. Learns and abides by Company policies and procedures. Completes data entry to log monitoring and tagging information necessary to document field activities Performs necessary filing of customer and company job related forms and paperwork. Communicates and deals with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company. This communication is completed by telephone. Performs other related maintenance or shop duties as assigned by supervision. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Field Duties Driving company vehicles. Performing cross training. Schedule work activities. Deliver reports to customers. Office Duties Distribute mail to office personnel. WORKING CONDITIONS: Field duties requires outdoor work in a plant atmosphere. Interaction with other crew employees, as well as superiors. Working in plant and shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes. May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis. JOB STANDARDS: Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred. Recent military service with mechanical, instrument, electrical or computer application training and experience; or Two (2) years’ experience in an Apprentice Program in the areas listed above; or Trade School Degree in an industrially related field; or A similar Associate’s Degree; or Three (3) or more years’ experience in industrial operations or maintenance. Requires manual dexterity to operate monitoring equipment and handle documents. Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice. Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines. Ability to lift and carry 15 pounds. Able to follow precise directions and procedures of the supervisor on the project. Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties. Must be able to communicate with customers, supervisor and co-workers. Must have current HAZWOPER training certificate.
