Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer
Mohawk Fine Papers, the largest privately owned manufacturer of premium printing and imaging papers, is accepting applications for an Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer. Primarily provide electrical, instrumentation and process control engineering services to the Cohoes and Waterford Paper Mills and Converting Operations. In addition, provides assistance in the mechanical areas.

Principle Accountabilities:
Â
1. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Performs engineering projects including specifications, design equipment selection, system integration, procurement, scheduling, construction, cost control, start-up, and training site wide.
Â
2.        Creatively apply innovative systems and leading edge technology to new projects, and process upgrades while providing hands-on engineering and trouble shooting/problem solving expertise.
Â
3. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Direct work, and/or consult with operating/production teams, vendors, suppliers, multiple crafts, contractors, staff engineering, and other specialists, while preserving site mechanical/ electrical standards, equipment maintain-ability, housekeeping, and all safety/quality standard requirements.

4.        Develop procedures, guidelines and supervise work for electrical instrumentation      and process control design, installation, start-up, operations, maintenance, operator training and trouble shooting.

Qualifications and Experience:
Â
B.S. in Electrical Engineering. 2-5 years as an electrical engineer working in manufacturing or related industry. Â Experience in power distribution systems, electrical drives, PLC and controls.
